RE: TV: The Walking Dead on AMC Season 2
I think they're drawing trying to paint a picture of what Rick and his crew will become if they continue on their current path and actions.

Rick does not hesitate to kill anymore, and will step outside of his moral boundary to do what he thinks is best for the group (just like the governor).

Daryl is Rick's no-questions-asked sidekick, who will support him in any way and agrees with the way he runs things. (Merle is this way with the governor).

They (governor group) even have a coy Asian guy who was a little hesitant to kill off all of those soldiers after being ordered to (similar to Glenn).

Pretty interested to see how this all plays out when the two worlds collide.

Season 3 is shaping up to be the best one thus far. I have been impressed with every S3 episode this season.

The soldiers would, I think, be less likely to submit to his kind of rule.....aka killing innocents. He's more likely to recruit muscle from the ranks of former prison inmates, thugs, mafia-types, etc. Soldiers are too honorable to fall for his type of society. Also, based on the last scene, I think it's obvious the Governor is a psycho.

I agree. Also, bringing a large group of military in would be a threat to the status quo. Here is a heirarchcal group that may not see the governor as a legitimate authority. They are armed and some level of training and could definitely pose some sort of threat. Governor could not let that happen.

Not sure what will happen with Merle.
There is a three page discussion of The Walking Dead on the main thread board by the way.

Still say Merle is a plant by the Governor to upset the prison folks. He really didn't know how many were holed up in the prison, and didn't know their weapon situation, so he stages this whole thing to get some intel.

Is there anyway to watch episodes online? We're in a temporary housing situation right now, and don't get to watch TWD. Killing me having missed the first two episodes.

You can watch it on amctv.com

Also, you can find torrents for it all over the internet. Probably find some streams to watch it live as well.

Derh. I looked at amctv.com before but apparently didn't look hard enough before. Thanks.
