No kidding....now who are the folks they meet up with? Don't think things are gonna turn out so great with them.

I was waiting for something to happen in the last scene, but I wasn't expecting that. Can't wait for next week. I'm glad The Walking Dead is back because Terra Nova isn't getting it done for me so far.

I was looking at that last scene as a "sign from God" like he was asking for. then bang. blew me away. my wife's jaw dropped litterally.

Yeah, I thought the deer was Rick's "sign from God" as well.....

Great Episode! Almost as good as God's beloved Apogee Stadium.

I was kind of mad because the season premiere started to become stagnant. No plot direction until the end. Still a great show though, wish I could watch all the new episodes back-to-back.

I'm also excited about Hell on Wheels, AMC's other show that is coming soon.

Don't know if they are introducing some new "normal" people. Thought last shot could have come from those people walking back ahead of them.

Great first episode! I don't mind the lack of plot sometimes because I am thinking how hard it would be to find direction and have a plan as things unfold. The plot is to survive.

My guess is that there are other survivors living out there who killed the deer and who are holding the girl.

The scene with "the herd" was freaking intense. Why someone would want to split off on their on is beyond me.

The group ahead of them didn't have a rifle did they? Darrell would have used a crossbow and the rest in the woods weren't the deer killing types. the old guy was back on the road.

They're definitely introducing a new group of people, in the preview for next week it showed Rick running his son up to a house with normal people out front, didn't indicate whether or not they had anything to do with the gun shot or not.

just watched it on the dvr. couldn't miss dex and homeland last night

both kids need to die. they slow down the pack doing stupid kid stuff.

my youngest son watched it and loved it. he didn't watch it with me last year.

I'm DVRing Homeland each week. I have three weeks recorded and haven't gotten around to watching em yet. I don't miss Walking Dead though.

I think Dexter is probably my favorite TV show that I'm watching right now.
