So did I...it's from Scout, no way in Hell it is right.

Also they spelled Wiesman wrong.

I think that is the screwup! I remember seeing two - one Dylan WEISMAN and one Dylan WISEMAN.

RE: Football Class of 2013
Keep in mind that Scout has had two profiles for him this entire year and never bothered to fix it even though it was brought up over there and Dave Berk was aware of it. They are showing OT "Dylan Wiseman" signing an LOI with UC today and OG "Dylan Wiesman" as signing an LOI with Tennessee last week. For most of the recruiting season Scout had both profiles listed as UC commitments.

I disagree, I've long viewed ESPN as the worst.

They've gotten much, much better in the past year or so. Have surpassed Rivals in my mind. 247 Sports > ESPN > Rivals > Scout

You know I was thinking the same thing as far as them passing Rivals as well.

Coop, no way in hell ESPN is worst than Scout. That's not even possible. Scout is a joke at this point. Oh have the mighty have fallen.

Scout sent out an email saying Wiesman committed to UC, clearly they're the worst.

RE: Football Class of 2013
I'm not sure about Scout or Rivals as a whole, but I do know that the UC sites at both of those (BCI and BCR) are terrible. I think not having strong people running those sites really hurt because we just don't get much coverage on those sites. Those sites are always slow to update our commitment list and generally only give recruiting coverage of our targets from the national writers. Other schools have fantastic Rivals and Scout sites and their recruits gets tons of coverage.

That certainly wouldn't surprise me if that is the case with Rivals. Definitely seemed like Andrew Force took a vacation from the time Butch Jones left, until after National Signing Day.

I was really impressed with ESPN's coverage of our signings on NSD. It was clearly getting incremental updates. It wasn't quite as rapid as the schools with Recruiting Nation pages, i.e. UF, OSU, etc....however it was still solid. It was well ahead of either Rivals or Scout.

To your point, I 100% agree that not having a strong team behind those pages makes all the difference. I still can make use of Rivals' database to look up a recruit, meanwhile....i totally ignore Scout. Everything abt that site feels ancient.

I have not been a paying member of Scout for years, but I still get those commitment emails and check to see who committed. I used to be a member at BCI, switched over to BCL in the Rivals version when Adams joined, but stopped with the pay sites...I understand the Scout and Rivals databases for recruits, but I haven't taken the time to look much at the newer 247 site. This board is the only regularly checked board anymore for me. Time is of the essence...having only 1 kid was a walk in the park, having 2 kids now is a game changer 03-lmfao

They all screw up from time to time. For all I know it was just an accident on UC's scout website. His recruiting profile didn't change on the national database.

Personally, I think you have to look at the recruiting sites as a whole. Some are better at covering and/or evaluating in specific regions than others. ESPN has improved, but they've got a long way to go.

I remember reading on another board, maybe the Wisconsin Scout board, that Holton was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

That is correct. DWLS = Driving While License Suspended.
