Because nothing says "Mexican Culture" like a celebration of a victorious battle over someone demanding payment of a lawful debt.

And you wonder why the political left is so upset at Arizona. 03-wink

If you have to ask, then you really aren't qualified to receive an answer. 05-stirthepot

I'm curious as to what "Cingo de Mayo" is myself. Why don't you start another topic if you want to know about something other than what this one is about.

I would but Torchy has me on "ignore" so he wouldn't be able to answer my question as to what "Cingo de Mayo" is. Since you quoted me, I believe he can see my post and I hope to get an answer.

Again, since this topic isn't about Cingo de Mayo he would probably ignore your question anyway.

Cinco de Mayo is racist towards the dead. It must be banned, for if the dead cannot protect protect their honor, who will?

Leaving in a bit for the Dynamo game.
And the "Cinco de Dynamo" celebration.
Actually, the Dynamo organization has done a pretty good job with its Hispanic fan base--once they got over the faux pas of originally naming the team "Houston 1836" (not exactly the best way to make friends and influence people).

So it was a typo? Ok. I just thought that since he seems to hate Spanish speakers, I just guessed he probably doesn't know much Spanish and didn't know how to correctly spell "cinco".
