I have no idea if this guy is a good get or a bad one at this point. Nobody does. But lets face it, the 'car guys' we had running the show the last couple of decades WEREN'T getting the job done. Say what you will, but we've gone from 38% market share down to about 23% in the time I've been with GM. Hardly inspiring.

We need a guy at the top who knows what profit and loss is all about. Wagner sure as hell didn't. We see the results.

Dip, I work for GM. I go in every day and do a job. I have NO perception that Washington is trying to push an agenda on us, not at all.

Our business plan is about designing/developing/building product that the consumers want and that can provide us with a profit. That has not changed ONE IOTA.

The only 'push' we're getting out of Washington is to get profitable as quickly as possible so they can sell their stock and recoup their investment.

Word of advice-don't take Limbaugh or Hannity comments about GM as gospel. They don't know what the hell their talking about, which is typical for those two. I listen to Hannity spout off about Washington running GM while driving home from work just to get a laugh

Unfair, Acer. I know DB. DB is my friend. Unlike 99% of the folks you'll meet in your life he's the genuine article. What you see is what you get with DB. Believe me, I know.

Despite the no-holds-barred fencing you see in this forum between Dip and DB they are friends. And they are both my friends. When we go to Bronco functions together this hubris is set aside and we enjoy each other. It's just that politics brings out the worst in them, like most folks I imagine.

How the f@ck could he hear anything I said? I came down to Houston from living at six thousand feet, tolerance is nearly double for us when we go down to sea level, we didn't imbibe very much/often at the game, and at the hotel the beer wasn't flowing through me like it was others. I saw who was bs quite clearly.

I have to head to Europe week after next to tie up some loose ends on some hybrid projects. After that it's only one trip to the far east and I'm all set for travel for the year-barring an emergency.

Am planning on making 4 home games this year. And maybe EMU if we play them in Ypsi.
