O'Reilly is a tard. Stewart didn't attack Cramer because he bashed Obama. Stewart originally went after Rick Santelli and Cramer took up for Santelli...so Stewart went after Cramer.

You honestly think that Stewart, if Santelli or Cramer(a Democrat) were bashing say bush instead of the messiah, that Stewart still would've taken up this fight????
come on, its pretty safe with loads of opportunities passed up on, to say he would not.
Cramer does make for an easy target to mock, given the nature of his Mad money show.

The clip that set Stewart off wasn't as much Santelli bashing Obama, as it was him calling the recipients of the potential housing bailout losers. Then Santelli cancelled a scheduled appearance (although Stewart claims the clips were prepared prior to the cancellation). The first round of clips were about the failings of CNBC in general, not just Santelli or Cramer.

Santelli was specifically calling out the moral hazzard of Obama's plan, it was a direct attack on Obama, and the fact he was rewarding bad behavior which encourages more of it and is bad for the markets.
Stewart is a liberal hack, has been for years. If Santelli would've said the exact same thing directed toward a Bush policy, he would not have touched it like this.

Why? He might be an arrogant bully but at least he's honest and knows what he's talking about. I like him.
He's a pompous a-hole. I can't stand the f'er. He's attacked two of my favorite Libertarians, Beck and Boortz, on numerous occasions. I think with O'Reilly it's about O'Reilly, not about the message. He's pig squeeze.
Again I have to ask in all of this: why is a COMEDY show the only one asking the hard questions and making sense in all this? What's that say about the state of journalism today?
Like Stewart said: "Its not a fu*king game."

Wow I really feel bad for Cramer. I kind of wanted to hug him after that.
I'm not so convinced that this was about Obama. I think that might be even a little crazy to say. It looks like to me, that Stewart was doing this for the common man. He didn't even want to take it political as he said at the end.
One of the best interviews I've ever seen. The MSM should take notes.
