RE: Clemson fires Tommy Bowden???
Interesting that both South Carolina & Clemson could be looking for new coaches this off season.

Then they went up again when Clemson said they'd start a true freshmen at QB against our D-Line.

Then they went up AGAIN today with the turmoil that'll be created over Tommy being fired. They've already lost alot of recruits.

Of course Georgia Tech will then lose that game. I'm not being a smart @ss or anything, but I have seen it to many times, an opponent that is easy pickings rise up and winning a game they shouldn't win. I should know, the University of Cincinnati has been on the receiving end of that more times then I can recall.

We called that Chan Gailey. Notice the difference his absence has made.

We all knew Chan Gailey wasn't going to work. Retreads rarely work. I'll put Wandstedt in that same boat along with that due who use to coach Nebraska.

Jury is still out on him. One thing we do know is that O'Leary + Friedgen is a great coaching tandem. The two them when separated however don't produce equally great results. Bare minimum he is at least a mediocre coach, and he will make sure your program graduates kids and isn't in the news for embarrising reasons.

Weren't a couple of Central Florida players arrested for vandalism recently? I agree with you on O'Leary and Friedgen, no question about that.

I expect Robinson to get fired after the USF game (if we lose). Maybe even after Louisville.

RE: Clemson fires Tommy Bowden???
Any idea of any rumored candidates Texan? Bowden would be a good one, if he is willing to come and if Syracuse can match his price. Kiffin is probably out of reach with the Al Davis thing, and if the rumors of him interviewing at Clemson are true he might be thinking the same thing. It's not unheard of for a coach to immediately jump from one BCS program that was contending to one that is rebuilding. Ron Zook jumped from Florida to Illinois, and Tom O'Brien jumped from Boston College to North Carolina State.

If UCF could get Friegden here that would be great!

You do realize that Wannstedt is coaching a Top 25 program while Frank Solich and George O'Leary are coaching losing team right now right?

Tommy Bowden and Tommy Tuberville together next year on the sidelines. I can't tell them apart.
The thought did cross my mind.

Let it play out. Chan was in the top 25 also at one point.

Spurrier is frustrated. He can't seem to get play makers to make USC an elite team. Seriously, where is the QB play?
