I'd be curious to know what it's like living with a racial mix like that. I'm considering a job relocation where it is similar in a southern state. I've never lived anyplace where us white boys were not a majority--althought the Mexican population seems to be rapidly becoming the majority here in Ft. Worth, TX.

I wouldn't know. I live here:

With the rest of the conservative black people.

Yes, much different mix there--83% white and 12% black. There is almost no Mexican population there. I am surprised at that.

Country music is so cheesed out these days its almost unrecognizable. Can you imagine Waylon Jennings or Hank Williams ever wearing something like this?
Kenny Chesney is actually pretty cool. He has a home down here on St. John and is building a second one. He hangs out with the locals at Woody's and sings every once in a while at the Beach Bar.
Never seen him with a cowboy hat on. Most of the time just a baseball cap on backwards.

Yep, he makes a good point. His party, the Democrat Party, IS being taken over. I will file him under the Zell Miller/Joe Lieberman Democrats.
He is wrong about Iraq though, if it descends into civil war, it won't be the Kurds that take over, it will be the Shi'ites. Maybe he should have asked people about that situation instead of relying on the media.

I live in a place that is 90% black 8% white 2%other and I can tell you that it is an adjustment being a minority. It is a great learning experience and will certainly either increase your adaptation skills or make you even more close minded.
This is my second go around as a minority the first was living in Turkey. I think overall both have made me a better person.

In Iraq.
A hairy redneck with a beer belly that loves violence yet wears a cross around his neck. Yep. I pretty much have the same picture.
Endzone here is a pic. You can make the decision for yourself:
They aren't the young sluts like many in the music business but a bit older and not as slutty. I believe they are from Texass.

Patriotic? Maybe. It would depend on your definition. "Good" American? What is a "good" American? What is a "bad" American? Independent thinking? lmfao

So basically if you disagree with Bush you are a "bad" American?

No. If you think like you.

If you don't believe Christianity should dictate our law? That we should stop kissing the Israeli's asses? Please explain. How do I think? That I don't believe the South will rise again?

Did you actually read the article before you laughed it off?
Quote:Raise your right hand if you think Keith is a pro-military type who voted twice for George W. Bush, supported the invasion of Afghanistan and watches Fox News. Raise your left if you think he is a registered Democrat who voted twice for Bill Clinton, opposed the war in Iraq and suspects Fox News merely panders to the right to boost ratings.
Either way, you're correct -- and whichever hand went up probably says more about you than about Keith.
I would say he's more of an independent thinker than most of us on this board.

Of course not dwr. Robert al-N doesn't deal in facts. And actually reading the article would force him to. He doesn't like that.
