This will be interesting to see play out in the Bham/JeffCo dysfunctional arena. The effects of Jim Crow live on in the local government and will outlast our children, unfortunately.

And BandDad--you're right about the 1901 Alabama Constitution. I did a research paper on it in school and the level of stupid in that document is mind-blowing. Here in ATX, I pay 5x the property tax, but our city has nice things.
