I'm just glad the colors don't include red anymore.

That's the right way to do it. Honor Legion Field by naming things after it. But don't actually play games in that godforsaken ****hole.

RE: Birmingham Legion
What are the chances that they will play at the Hoover Met or whatever it is called today for a season?

The Memphis franchise in the same league has announced they will play in Autozone park, in downtown Memphis. This is the home of the AAA baseball team. I would suspect and hope that Birmingham does the same with Regions Park

RE: Birmingham Legion
My understanding is the USL team is working with UAB on a plan to share costs to expand BBVA Compass Field to 5k capacity with added restrooms, ticket booth, concessions, and video board.

RE: Birmingham Legion
That would be probably the best solution.

No need to mess up Regions Field, Park, etc. for this.

RE: Birmingham Legion
That’s the plan. Finish expansion and play at BBVA until BJCC Stadium is ready

RE: Birmingham Legion
I think BBVA is the best long term solution unless the place is selling out. I think the other stadium will kill the atmosphere.

RE: Birmingham Legion
It looks like they are expecting attendance to be in the 2-5k range, which is about the average (4,301) for USL clubs.

You're funny.
That's MLS, not USL.
Also, B'ham doesn't have the population of ATL.
