With the deadline to enter the portal upon us, the pool of available players will be fully known. At that point the transfer movement should ramp up as will the pressure for both players and coaches to end up in the best possible position. There will be a tipping point at some time where a player in the portal isn't welcomed back to their old school because they have been replaced and they will have to go somewhere. When that happens, good teams with open spots will be very valuable. There may be an advantage to holding out until the end.

I have to believe he is waiting to get the right big man. Wings are a dime a dozen right now and if he wanted another wing, he'd have signed one. Big men are always in short supply with high demand. This is where I think patience could pay off. The fact we don't need a big man to do much more than rebound and defend should make our pool a bit bigger.
