I disagree. See about 5 posts above. I gave an honest evaluation of a guy that looks very promising, with one small critique, i got roasted for the critique. It's not that i'm not on board with Siddle, I am. He has certainly landed some really talented recruits. But i do question the balance in size. If he truly thinks he can get away with no size because he did before(with a generational talent on the roster) as he mentioned in an interview, that's worrisome to me. But, i digress.

You didn't get roasted. One poster counterpointed and he didn't suggest that you weren't entitled to your opinion or that your opinion was wrong because Siddle is above reproach.

There seems to be three schools of thought about Siddle's first 2+ months. 1) He landed a talented class; it lacks size/post depth, but he will compensate for this with style/pace. 2) He landed a talented class; it lacks size/post depth that will have to be addressed in subsequent classes. Or 3) he landed a talented class, it lacks size/post depth and this is emblematic of his philosophy and long term vision.

I know you feel like you're being consistent with your criticism because you had the same concerns with McGrath, but the difference is that we saw that C.B. wasn't going to change his philosophy to fit the roster. You can be worried, but before criticism is fair, we need to see Siddle coach, new players play, in-game adjustments by staff, and a full recruiting cycle. I am hoping that he addresses post depth in future classes.

Cacok was certainly a unique talent at UNCW, but he was never the key to the team's success under Keatts/Siddle.

Im not as concerned about lack of size for next year, as I am about our below average 3 point shooting this past year. If the returning players don't improve their shooting then we might be in trouble. With the style of play that Siddle is going to implelment I am confident we can overcome a lack of size next year, but that only works if we are an above average 3 point shooting team. Keatts' teams were lethal from 3.

This is a real concern. It's one reason I think Harvey could start as a Freshman. His 3 point shooting numbers were really impressive on the AAU/High school level. If that translates with his athleticism he's got the making of being a really good player. Gadsden can be a deadly from 3 point when he's healthy, unfortunately he's battled injuries his whole career so far. I also think Boggs could be a good 3 point shooter.
