The literal defintion of a "project". Reclassified from 2019 to 2020 because he just started playing basketball in 2017. Have to trust Siddle on this one because there is nothing out there showing he is worth the gamble.

We need bodies down low. Simple as that. Quality bigs are tough to come by, as usual.

We've gone down the 7 foot "bodies down low" route and it hasn't worked out.

Matt Wilson, Trey Kalina. "Quality" is the key. Like I said, I have to assume Siddle has seen him on the court and sees something others haven't because there is zero buzz about this player anywhere, and at 7 ft., you'd think there would be something. Looks super soft from the little i've seen, and that's not something you can coach away.

My takeaway is that he runs the floor well for his size and has athleticism. Also, didn't seem to be getting much buzz until the last month so might be a bit of a late bloomer. He picked up an offer from USC Upstate a couple weeks ago too. I agree though he seems like a project to me, but we're desperate for the size.
