So, he had to evaluate the current talent on the roster and figure out what our needs are. Coming from UNC, his connections for recruits were at a level far beyond UNCW. Also, he had to decide what type of offense/defense he wanted to run and what type of players to recruit to get there. Beyond Elmore, we don't have a single traditional 4 on the roster. Which means he had to decide if Elmore could be that guy. He also had to decide if he could play with Cacock at the 5 or if he needed to recruit a ready to g0 5, and move Cacock to the 4. Ready to go 5's are hard to find.

I am sure we could have offers and commits on board if we were just looking to fill the roster. This shows me we are being selective in our choices so we don't make long term mistakes. I'm focused on the long term results, not short term actions.
