RE: Temple signs stadium extension for 2 years ...
Rutgers is closer to Temple than Penn State. I think that it would be great if we could have PSU size crowds for the RU vs Temple game. But I believe the last time we played we got about 32k so I suppose that is the number unless both TU and RU are ranked.

Temple did a study back in 2000 when looking at a campus stadium. The study stated that on Saturdays, the large staff of several thousand employees won't be on campus which would free up parking. The garage to the basketball arena as well as other garages and lots could be used.

Public transportation including buses, subways and trains could also be used.
Special shuttle buses would be another option.

30k would mean a very crowded campus and stadium. But to me it would be a good thing to use the term crowded and Temple football in the same sentence.

Someone already pointed out that beer will be sold at the stadium as it is at the basketball arena. There is something like 7 pubs already on campus.

Tailgaters always seem to do what they do. How about temp parking in Fairmont Park which is a mile away. The park would allow for tremendous tailgates. Shuttle buses for say $2 could then take people to and from the game.
