RE: AAC Loses 45% of Revenue
nothing new there. AAC lost BCS status. UCF only had that for 1 year. Still make 3x what we did in CUSA. We get a share of the $$$ left behind by departing schools, Many more BB credits, and 2x the TV $$. The AAC got hit hard, UCF really did not. It is true we are not getting what we hoped for when we joined the BE. A lot of projects have had to be slowed down to match the lower $$$.

I'm by far an 'expert' on these subjective matters, but I try to share relevant information from time to time on the board.

My personal opinion is that UCF is positioned in a strong place to be recognized by a significant conference. This opinion is based on strong attendance figures, a large metropolitan area near campus, and recent success on the field (see BCS Bowl).
