So strange. Has this ever happened in the NCAA?

Zane Martin just recently did it for Towson. Towson-New Mexico-Towson... That's the only one I can think of off the top of my head.

He will probably be the best three point shooter on the team immediately. Don't forget, he shot 45% one year. I love seeing him come back after being moved to the back of the line under McGrath. He knows the system and is a tough player and defender.
Seems to me we still have two scholarships left to go after big men.
Welcome back Jaylen!

He must have heard Hoops thinks going to a 3rd school is a red flag and didn't want to be seen in a negative light by him.

Fornes was benched for a few reasons as I recall-turnovers,poor decision making as in shot selection and attitude from hell when he was taken out of the game. Maybe he has grown up some since then-he is a good corner 3 ball man and plays with energy.

Yeah, a crappy coach ruined several players while he was here. No surpirse. Fornes was never a problem when Keatts was here..

I know people from Word of God that have always spoke highly of Jaylen. Trevor Deloach thought highly enough of him to bring him down to Nichols State and help them win a regular season conference championship. Character isn't an issue here.

So far, I'm seeing that both of our portal signees are signing on for one season. Look accurate?

I don't think character is an issue. My issue is adding another small role player when we need more than that. He did shoot 39% from 3 which isn't bad

With 4 scholarships available in the late period, I figured there would be at least one guard in there. His numbers show that he'll at minimum be able to fill Ty G's role while adding quite a bit more size. Once he hit the portal it made a lot of sense.
I'm with you on the need for frontcourt players. My expectation is to go after a transfer big and the Ezuma kid hard. Still a lot of time left as signing period doesn't open up until 4/14.

Hearing anything more on Ezuma? I saw we offered a while ago but no chirping since.

Barely anything out there on his recruitment. He doesn't have social media (must be a Hargrave thing.) Offers from EKU, Tulsa, and Hampton according to Verbal Commits but I would be surprised if those are the only schools involved.

You can't blame a coach for everything and Fornes was not good at all and frankly didn't deserve as much time as he got. Players turn the ball and take bad shots-not the coach in spite of what people think at the end of the day the player has to value the ball above all else. The blame game just gets old after a while and you gotta hold players accountable at some point. Maybe Fornes works out this time .

If my memory serves me right,, Fornes had fixed his on court issues and was playing very well. Something else happened that put him in the dog house.

McGrath had ZERO offensive movement for the team. Everyone was turning it over and taking bad shots. We finally saw some form of high picks and offensive movement the game after he was fired, and we won.
