RE: A Sense Of Scale...
I don't know if that's quite true, Willie. I might resort to calling a person something 'ball related' and I'm pretty sure people call me a positive paul on this forum.

Memphis - 5th best paid coach in the conference.
Over $2 million would have shown a commitment and would have encouraged loyalty. $1.4 million is the opposite of loyalty and encourages flight. We are underpaying him next year, after we ended up grossly underpaying him this year.
Fuente not only saved the football program; he is basically the only reason why we are probably going to get into the Big 12. Technically, everything else is in place, but none of it would have meant a thing if we had just finished off another 3 win season.
Seems like a kick in the teeth, if you ask me.
Memphis is happy, Fuente is happy, I 'm happy- And this BS thread is nothing more than an very transparent attempt to create dissension and take the focus off JP and his inept ability as a D1 basketball coach.
He is turning into a fantastic D-1 Basketball Coach!
Come on to the games with the rest of us and enjoy the ride! The rest of this season is going to be a blast! Let's keep our heads up and our hearts with our team and our COACH!
WB why don't you post up a pic in the forum from one of the last two games you said you attended? Just for posterity's sake- I'd like to see the crowd.
.
Why don't you post a pic from the 50 yard line at an ole miss game? Just for posterity's sake. Also, were you with prine? I know his seats are on the 50.
