Also don’t mind changing to Nike if it helps us get quality matchups. Those black basketball uniforms looked sharp this year. Grey not so much.

Also for football I don’t mind an alternate uniform if we don’t overuse it. One a season.

Would love a throw back every now and then. Love the arrow. Ingram thinks it’s ugly.

Love gold pants.

Just going to throw this out there in regard to football uniforms. If we are actually going to be pivoting away from UA in May then it makes sense why last season’s uniforms were the stock pattern and stuff. Likely the cheapest options. What we wore last year is the exact same uniform IMG wore I want to say 2019 or maybe 2017 but green rather than blue. If I remember right our UA contract ended last season and we extended a year. I’d imagine some cooler and nicer mashups if we announce a long term extension or jump ship this off season.

Of course, it’s the case now that not just the fanbase has to be pleased but recruits want to be impressed by the look. I may be wrong, but it seems recruits care more and more about sharp looks as recent years go by. They get those photo shoots with the gear on official visits.

I'm also good with occasionally using a "Birmingham" jersey, but I have always thought that the area code fad is just plain stoopid. Blazr is right, we fought for decades to get the UAB brand recognized, so we shouldn't be diluting it. I'm also OK with the grey for the Children's Harbor game special event, but otherwise we should be in Forest Green, Old Gold, and White. Basketball should never be wearing grey.

Stop sending those kids to my lawn!

They care about looks so much more now. May be the social media aspect or the NIL but it’s absolutely a thing now. I think Nike wins that battle too. Kids could wear the Jordan cleats and stuff if they want too I think. You may have to a Jordan brand school, but I think there is some cross over to an extent. UA just has 0 presence in sports outside of Curry off the top of my head
