Lazells Durden was a prop 48- not a transfer. What a baller.

Buford was my dad's favorite bearcat.
Legree was an underrated bearcat. His stability at pg was a huge part of our last elite 8 team and the downgrade from Keith to Charles Williams is why our preseason number one team the next year never lived up to expectations despite having basically everyone else back.

I'd add James "flight" White to this list.

I wasn't a big fan of Chris McNeal from Brannen's first team
Have to disagree on Legree. If he could shoot just a little bit, that team would have been unstoppable. Plus he played so slow

Bolded, that was the story on him when he transferred here from Louisville and it proved to be the case. He was a warrior and a great athlete and if he'd been a little better shooter those UC teams would have soared.

What about Aaron McGhee transferring out and becoming an All American at Oklahoma? Did he go to make room for Dermarr?
I guess Antwan Jones was a JUCO, but I remember Sports Illustrated did a big story on him before the season and he was supposed to be great and he very quickly did not work out.
On the positive side, Nick Williams from Kansas St. was a solid player here.

A worst addition - Rashawn Fredericks - He was a First team JUCO All American but was very outmatched in D1 even in the AAC

I don't think we're including jucos. Clearly van exel would be number 1 if we did.

Immanuel McElroy was a great bearcat in his 2 years with UC after transferring from a JUCO school in Texas. And, of course, Herb Jones and Pete Michael were great JUCO additions on Huggins' teams.

You have Jermaine Tate in the wrong section. He was one of the all-time disappointments. Big Ten freshman of the year and never average more than 5 points or 5 rebounds for UC despite being a starter. If he had lived up to his potential, UC is unstoppable.
I'll add another one to the disappointment list. Rob Whaley. The 03/04 UC team was loaded at the 2,3,4 positions and needed a serviceable Center and Point Guard. Whaley was a top 50 player coming out of high school and the #1 rated juco player. His time at UC was filled with him whining, quitting the team, and refusing to play inside despite his 6'10" 260 pound frame. He averaged 5 points on 35% shooting.

Are we just talking basketball, or can I throw in Ben Mauk for being one of the main reasons why Cincinnati football is what it is right now in general program perception?
