Jackson has entered the portal. MBB.

Jackson did improve at the end of the season but he is still not very good, no great loss there. Innocenti and Barnes hurts us bad though they were the best players we were going to return by far!

We will disagree about Jackson in that I think he is a very good piece off the bench. He is long and a good defensive player. But he is replaceable.

We still have the three most heralded freshmen from last years class in Paul, Miles & Benjamin. Coach G recruited the second place team in the WAC last year and he can do it again.

Not concerned about Moussa, very replaceable. Innocentti was the best Frosh they got and it showed. Him and Barnes leaving is a huge blow, the others, meh whatever. We need to get at least 2 studs in the portal or we will be in big trouble. In this day and age of NIL/Transfer portal, it it almost futile to recruit Freshman knowing if they are any good they will just leave next year. Might as well recruit all seniors out of the portal and get an experienced team. You are going to have to rebuild the roster now on a yearly basis, might as well get older/experienced players.

This one hurts. He made some great catches the last couple years. Injuries hurt him last year, but a 6’ 6” receiver with pretty good hands is a huge loss.
