How about a resignation letter?

Personally I would be okay with a "rebuilding" year if it got us out of this complete roster turnover system we are stuck in. Some kind of continuity and a familiarity with the players - it used to be what made the college game more fun than the NBA.

Talent yes but most don’t know how to play and need to be developed. And I’m not sure if development is Penny’s strong point. Plus I think the local players are grossly overrated coming out. Look at Johnathan Lawson. He’s now flamed out at two schools. I guess maybe he should go after some that are not as highly ranked like Kam Jones? We’ve been burned so much by local players in the last 25 plus years

Humility would have had him accepting blame for any losses or lack of coaching acumen. Instead , he kept throwing the players under the bus. I don't like Tennessee but when they fire a coach that won 3 national championships as a player and has averaged over 20 wins a year as a coach but can't do anything after getting into the tournament...that says something. Tennessee Lady Volunteers were a National brand but have been middling at best since Pat died. They have an AD not afraid to make bold firings/hirings. I don't know that we do. I so want Penny to be successful but I'm just afraid he's meant for AAU after these past years not showing any changes or improvements.
