For $100 per ticket, Travis should bring his girlfriend. Sure, no UC football fans would attend, but UC would make a killing
This whole event has been so oddly done.
Bolded, yep and the one constant is the unpredictability of April weather in Cincinnati. I just saw a report on Channel 5 moments ago saying UC has "a plan" if the weather turns bad (as predicted) that evening. Squeeze everyone into 5th/3rd? I'm not sure why it wasn't located there to begin with. $103 to sit up in the pavilion in a spring thunderstorm?
Hey, I really hope it all works out fine though. The Kelce Brothers, at the height of their popularity, are putting a big media spotlight on UC by hosting an event to drop some cash in the Bearcats' NIL pot. I'm not aware of any event quite like this at any other P4 university in our region.
Surprise! Due to the threat of bad weather, the event has been moved to 5/3. Now who could have predicted that?

Yep, I just caught the noon news on Channel 5 and it was announced there. They added that tickets are no longer available which would suggest they'll need to squeeze students and other attendees into our 12,012 seat arena. That's fine with me because that place should really rock with a full house.
I'm often critical of UC coverage in local media but I have to say Channel 5 News has really talked up this event all week long and continues to do so. With March Madness behind us and MLB just warming up, it should be getting this kind of coverage. I think we'll see plenty of the brothers and who knows who else tomorrow night on WLWT's 11 pm newscast, along with a raucous crowd inside 5th/3rd.

Maybe lower bowl or a portion of the lower bowl? Hopefully people understand the allure of this more than I do.

Huh. Well, good for UC. I guess I’m not one to get excited over celebrity. Or I’m getting old and grumpy. I’d rather just hand them the $100 and stay at home.

Anyone have extra tickets to sell?

Buy the $100 ticket, resell it for $150 and stay at home.
Surfing the local newscasts this evening, the coverage of tonight's event was "all in" for Channels 12 and 5 for sure. There was an interview with someone in the UC Police that suggested they were prepared for enhanced security should Taylor Swift join Travis and one reporter at 12 ran with that story. But I have to believe that's just routine contingency planning if a celebrity would be appearing unannounced on campus. I don't think she attends, but many students they spoke with outside 5th/3rd were hoping she would.
Still, it's been terrific publicity and is certainly unique in the Big 12 in terms of offseason hype. An event of interest for our whole city really with Joe Burrow participating. I've even heard some folks that follow that school on Dana Avenue feel dismayed about the spotlight once again shining brightly on UC.

This thing has made me feel so out of touch.
Perhaps a “lucid moment”?
I’ve seen clips of the podcast on You Tube, but had no idea that it was so popular. Had no clue people had a strong desire to pay $100 to view a podcast. Saw a news clip of two women who travelled from Tennessee for this.
Looks like everyone was very excited and had a lot of fun. Good for them and the University. Now that I know what it was, still wouldn’t have attended, but always happy when my alma mater gets some good publicity. I kind of tuned the Kelces out because of the Swift thing, because it doesn’t interest me. The only thing about this event that interested me was its charitable cause.
FYI, apparently Swift was in the building.

One thing that I noticed is that the ladies love the Kelce’s. Obviously there is the T. Swift angle, but they also love Jason and his wife and even Mama Kelce as well.
This was a very successful event and I would not be surprised if they do it again. It had a big time concert feel and was well worth the $100.

Right?
I mean we feel it's our solemn duty as committed fans to jump the ushers to sit in Jeff Wyler's red sweater seats whenever called upon. We answer the call. It's how we do despite my chronic Italian catholic guilt. But I do my part....

Saw the video on You Tube, where it got a lot of negative feedback from viewers.
