"On November 18, 2023, NBC renewed its rights to the Fighting Irish through 2029. NBC will continue to carry most Notre Dame home games, with one game per-season being exclusive to Peacock."

"NBC will air primetime games throughout the regular season under the title Big Ten Saturday Night. All telecasts will be available on Peacock, while eight Big Ten games per-season (including four intraconference games) will be exclusive to Peacock. NBC will carry the Big Ten championship game in 2026, while the contract also includes a package of Big Ten basketball games and Olympic sports coverage for Peacock."

"On May 11, 2020, CBS Sports agreed to a multi-year deal through the 2023 season to become the home of UConn Huskies home games, which will mostly air on CBS Sports Network.[16]
In August 2022, it was reported that CBS Sports was nearing a deal for rights to Big Ten football under its next round of broadcast contracts, expanding upon its rights to cover Big Ten basketball.[17][18][19][20]
"On August 18, 2022, CBS reached a seven-year deal to broadcast Big Ten football and basketball beginning in the 2023 season. CBS will air up to 15 Big Ten football games per-season, including a Friday afternoon game on Thanksgiving weekend, and the Big Ten Football Championship Game in 2024 and 2028. In addition to the network's alternate 12:00 p.m. ET and 7:30 p.m. ET windows, Big Ten games will replace the SEC on CBS's traditional 3:30 p.m. ET window beginning in the 2024 season; CBS will carry seven Big Ten games in 2023 around its final season of SEC coverage, which will mostly be part of doubleheaders and tripleheaders with SEC and/or Mountain West games.[19][21]
In 2023, CBS Sports Network began airing football games from the FCS level Northeast Conference.[22]"

A couple things I did not know:
1) Both networks have/had contracts with non P5 conferences or individual non P5 teams recently and presently.
2) CBS shows double and triple headers on Saturday.
3) CBS will air a Thanksgiving weekend Friday afternoon game.
It's not clear to me when the NBC deal with the B1G is set to expire, my guess is around 2029-30, 7 years seems to be the usual length.
Question: If ESPN wants to backout of their current deal because of all the uncertainty surrounding the lawsuits, is the ACC free to explore other networks? Assuming yes.
Follow up question: Since this would be for the 2028 season and beyond, is there a good-great chance that one of these networks would make the ACC their exclusive P2/M2 partner in 2030-31 and afterward?
Before the question is answered, imagine this: The ACC loses their ESPN deal and the ACC grovels at the feet of FSU/Clem/UNC to not leave, we promise to pay you better. We let bygones be bygones, FSU and the rowdy bunch then reaffirm their commitment.
Now wuddayu think?
