RE: FIRE MARK BYINGTON
Well, if this game means JMU gets to keep Mark (for at least another season) I’m willing to write this game off.

Wouldn’t doubt the deal was in place already. FAUs coach just got the Michigan job after blowing the end of their game and then getting demolished in OT.

When get some NIL money, can we write the agreement so that a player loses money for every missed free throw?

Perhaps, but he'll still get many more millions down south.

This thread did not age well.

Things that happened before this thread:
-Byington signed an extension

Things that happened after this thread:
-Byington takes Vanderbilt job

The logical conclusion is that Byington read this thread and immediately interviewed for the Vanderbilt job and left.
All the guys transferring read this thread too and that's why they are leaving.

This is why we can't have nice things.

7 JMU fight songs and 3 alma maters and all will be forgiven.

I'm pretty sure we signed Mike Houston to some flimsy 10 year contract extension only months prior to his departure as well. People on here just knew he'd be at JMU forever after that was done.
