Yeah, I'm pretty sure their only Q1 win was against the team we just beat by 17. They are a pretty incredible offensive team, but their defense and rebounding numbers are downright putrid.

They don't get nearly as many opportunities as we do in Q1 games. The lost to two top 16 kenpom teams on the road (we didn't beat a top 16 kenpom team all year either and we had more chances), they beat Bradley on the road for their loan Q1 win. They lost twice to Drake for their other Q1 losses (and beat Drake at home).

They are 5-1 in Q2 games. They are 17-5 Q1 through Q3 games.

Most of the predictive (and resume metrics) have them somewhere around the 40th best team in the country...which is right where we are. They are really good.

Yeah, I knew that. I just don't see why that resume is considered better than UC's. Seems we are about equal.

It’s a different type of resume, one the committee historically hasn’t valued. That being said if they don’t pick up two horrible losses in mid-February they make the tournament but you could say the same about UC. There is usually a good reasons teams don’t make the tournament even if they have a team that should be there. I am actually for expanded the NCAA to 72 teams. I would play the NIT games at the same venue of NCAA tournament and play on Wednesday/Friday at sites that play on Thursday/Saturday and play Thursday/Saturday at venues that are Friday/Sunday. Round of 8 is played on the off day between the Sweet 16 and Elite 8. NIT Final Four is played in the same city as the NCAA Final Four on the day preceding each game. Make both tournaments a celebration of college basketball and let people make it a non-stop event when they get to the city.

I love the idea of some vice president at ESPN calling up the refs to make sure Indiana St gets a good whistle in an NIT game.

Nah. It’s proven Refs call more fouls against the visiting team. I think it’s human nature. The refs get emotionally into a raucous crowd. Like Enrico Pallazzo finding out he’s popular.

Skillings set the tone for himself on the opening tip and hasn’t recovered yet. Dude better get 10 rebounds tonight if he’s gonna be so awful with the ball

The Sycamores are getting everything they want on offense but just missing the shots...I don't think that'll last, we need to tighten up a ton on the pass-offs with screens.

At this rate it feels like we won’t be able to keep up on offense but I’m okay with that result tonight. The future is bright

The first 5 minutes jizzle scored 4 and created two (missed) fts on one end and got beat on ball screens for 4 points and 2 (missed) fts.

But love how he's played so far.
