Davis chose to just walk up and chuck a highly contested long no-hoper. I think he was hoping for a foul, he wasn't getting it and shouldn't have gotten it.

In the OT NW just shot the lights out. Can't beat that. I just wish they had used Goldin more - he was dominant in there.
I was hoping for anyone but Goldin to take those free throws....knew he'd brick it

Both sequences were awful and they blew it there. OT as you said , NW just got hot and it happens

Still a success to make the tournament and I don't think they had a shot vs UConn. Now hopefully May stays instead of going to Louisville and we can rebuild parts of the team

Something is wrong if you count on a big for a must-make free-throw. But, even then, they could have stopped NW's offense (which they didn't) and tried to do something with 8.1 seconds to go (which they didn't). Just put the ball inside to Goldin and you have a better chance to create SOMETHING.
Right. Was a terrible 20 second sequence for the team and Coach May. Goldin shouldn't be on the floor when they have to foul. Use a timeout to set something up at the end

And Goldin bricks the free throw and Davis does absolutely nothing but be stupid at the end

Again, it was miraculous to get to that point though. They would have stolen the game if they got it done at the end imo.

Both FAU and UAB games look like nail biters (in regulation). Blazers holding on 56-55 with 6 min left.

Go Blazers !

Great effort UAB. Both fanbases hurting today but you guys won the conference tourney and played in a tossup game

We made a final 4 last year and won the conference regular season and tourney and played a toss up type game

Both teams contributed well in cusa last year and the AAC this year. Hopefully both can keep it going

Yeah, really though both teams played well enough to win. Tough finishes to both of our seasons.

This off-season will be pivotal for both programs. Does Dusty leave now, knowing there's a likely drop off next season with so many guys leaving? Or does he stay and continue to build FAU into a mid-major power.

Does AK get in the mix on some of these coaching vacancies, or does he stay for what could be his best season at UAB next year. Do any of our key guys, mainly Yax, jump into the portal?

Hopefully we both have relatively uneventful off-seasons.

Quick experience in the tournament this year. Let's make it better and longer next year, team.

Unfortunately I think May is leaving. Most likely to Louisville. Can't blame him on that. They can take any coach they want from the non power 2 plus big 12 pretty much for basketball

Question is do we promote one of our 2 top assistants or go outside for the replacement

I didn’t have a chance to watch the Northwestern FAU game, but they seem poised to make a run like FAU did last year if they get past us. Some UConn fans seem to be looking ahead to the Sweet 16, since there is a chance we play another team in state, which would be cool. But I think it is foolish to look past Northwestern, they’re a good team.

Tough loss, was sorry to see y’all get knocked out in round 1. Hoping Dusty sticks around after this season, I know he has been one of the candidates mentioned in like every “P” coaching vacancy. If you guys keep him I’m confident you find a way to reload and make it again next year 04-cheers

We played an awful game. I think we are the better team over NW ,but didn't get it done. UConn will kill them

And unfortunately May will be gone
