So many cool story lines in that game. That game was incredible. I was jumping on my couch!

Gohlke nation. It’s what’s this tourney is about. A Div-II 24 year old dude who is going to be jacking 3’s in rec leagues in another year. Good for OU .

That is the absolute pinnacle of what most college basketball programs can hope to achieve. A fleeting moment of greatness.

@TonyPaul1984
Jack Gohlke and Oakland were the story of the NCAA Tournament in the Round of 64. Helped deliver an epic upset, in front of 6M sets of eyeballs.

Oakland asked for the game ball for Gohlke, who, you’ll recall, made 10 3’s.

The
@NCAA
said nope.

Unfuckingbelievable.

This is why you don't ask.

It only took Kampe 40 years to do it.

Nonetheless, good for them.

Per today’s Detroit News, Oakland star Trey Townsend is likely to hit the portal. One year left…likely MSU is an option. Isn’t the portal just a special thing in today’s game. Basically a human version of musical chairs.

Yes, good for the Golden Grizzlies.

Bad for Calipari-Kentucky.

FWIW Kampe-Oakland are something like 0-20 vs. Izzo-MSU.

RE: Oakland
OU loses a nail-biter OT game vs. NC State, then NCSU goes on to beat Marquette and Duke handily to reach the Final Four. Go figure. Can't say it would've gone exactly that way had OU won, but tough not to think of what "might've been."
