Ezewiro and Ewin would be an excellent end to the offseason, assuming Yax's cousin comes too.

In terms of Ewin I'm just going with the mindset he isn't coming and that if Ezewiro commits then we're done with big man recruiting lol
Not certain of the second one but there is supposed to be two visitors this weekend.
Come on down, Kaleb Glenn. Only miss the shots you don’t take. So, that’s my guess
Glenn doesn't seem that impressive.
It’s probably not him, I just figured if we were open to signing players for the hell of it because of connections to current players that maybe UAB invites Glenn due to his connection to Moore at Louisville male hs four years ago. Shumate, who UAB just hired, was the first to offer Glenn out of high school

AK has been liking almost all of Talverez’s posts so I would assume that’s for a reason, but also kinda interesting he’s taking a visit to Charleston. I would imagine 3rd times the charm on Ezewiro. Ewin is so complex to me because I don’t see a terrible amount of movement on recruiting a center other than some smoke with him. Currently all we have is Shaver as a true 5, Yax as a hybrid 4/5. It would be funny if our random get of the year was at the center position and there is someone cooking we haven’t clocked yet

I'd look for P5/6 ish guys in the portal, or at a juco trying to rebound their career like ewin. Most of our true 5's had a P5/6 stint.

Was very under recruited so I don't blame him taking more than just one visit

GSU, Southern, not State.

"The council's decisions do not become official until the Division I Board of Directors reviews them, but would go into effect for the 2023-24 school year."
"The changes will allow Division I baseball, softball and ice hockey teams to have four full-time coaches instead of three. Basketball coaching staffs can increase by two, though the two additional coaches will not be permitted to recruit off-campus"

I’m guessing Pearson. Didn’t see him listed on the uabsports.com website anymore.

If Glenn from Louisville happens. And we do get Talvwrez and Ezewiro. It may be the case that Yax stays at the 5 slot with Shaver seeing significant time. Not opposed, that’s insane guard depth

I would put Ezewiro at the 5 with Yax & Coleman rotating at the 4. Yax could play the 5 some to get him and Coleman on the floor together. And hopefully Shaver could be a legit backup for Ezewiro.

This!
I really think coleman, and especially yax, can play the 3, if they both develop consistent mid range jump shots. Coleman started too. Yax had a nice jumpshot all year, he just takes a very long time to shoot, doesn't seem confident shooting jumpers sometimes, and couldn't shoot off the dribble.

We have so many good guards I have a hard time thinking we won’t have 3 on the court at all times

I hope not, we did the 9 guards thing this past season and it didn't really work out honestly.
Bigger, stronger teams will kick our butts. One thing all 4 final teams had was great center play, or the ability to play through there centers.

I disagree.
A lot of small to medium sized contributions from a relatively large group of individuals could go a long way.
What are the reputable ways to contribute to NIL at this time?
yeah, so all the blazertalkers will contribute and compete with this:
"FedEx is committing $25 million over the next five years to Memphis’ NIL efforts. The brand is making a huge financial commitment to its hometown university."
you probably shouldn't comment on everything on the forum. Ignorance is bliss though.

If UAB had a coherent, reputable, widely advertised way to contribute to NIL and a campaign to get said contributions, it would definitely be more than just people on blazertalk.
Strength in numbers. Thousands of donations could go a long way.
I never said we would compete with fedex from just individual joe blow NIL donors. I never said we could compete against the hugest corporate donors. I don't think that's what UAB needs. We just need SOMETHING, whereas we have had little to none.
You probably shouldn't comment on everything that I comment on the forum. Save your arthritic finger joints the extra work. You're free to ignore me.
Or you can keep your ignorant head in the sand and think that individual people donating to NIL at UAB wouldn't help the situation.
