Welp, that’s how UVa gets blown out.

Kudos to Colorado State.

Seem to remember ACC fans telling me that it was the Mountain Joke and the ACC deserved more teams

26-spot difference in NET too. NET looked awfully reliable tonight.

We really missed out. Would've loved seeing Indiana State's #1 offensive efficiency on display. Win or lose, they're entertaining.

Such a shame that they didn’t win the AAC tourney. Really wanted to see them in the Dance. Hope they win the NIT. Would be huge for their program.

LOL - guy in the studio: "I'm sure Indiana St and St John's are at home saying, 'man, I would've loved this shot tonight'"

Knowing that there’s a “network partner,” I’m wondering how that faction feels now. Egg in the face of the committee, the networks, or both? Good lord, what a dud this game was. And I’m no fan of NET, but, that metric may have gotten some validation with this outcome. UVA had no place being here.

Something like 17-15-1 ATS and 16-17 O/U. I’m sure Vegas really liked this team, but hard to tell if they really loved their lines last night for the game.

Glad I recorded and watched later. With 3m Wagner was up 13 points and it still came down to chucking 3s to tie it at the end. Anyone who watched the whole thing could have just tuned in with 3m left instead.

I mentioned this in Big 12 and Houston thread; UVA along with Wisconsin and now Houston often put up games like this where they can't do anything offensively. It's so strange that it doesn't matter the players nor coach UVA still does this.

I wonder if UVA is ever going to be UVA again with things now like the transfer portal and NIL.

Thanks for the sentiment.

FWIW, while of course I would have loved to see us make the big dance, it didn't diminish the achievement of winning the conference regular season title, something we had never done in 50 years of playing conference hoops. That's a trophy for the mantle.

It was also sweet beating UCF last night though as well.

We just don’t sweat first shot offense. Our make focuses are TOVs, REBs, and defense. Our mentality is that we can always rebound a missed a shot which is why despite our poor shooting we still have the 17th rated offense on KP. Unfortunately for us, we’ve now lost three of our best offensive rebounders for the season and our starting 4 is also banged up.

Niko Medved is a good coach. I wonder if CSU will be able to keep him.

The last time UVa embarrassed themselves on the national stage they turned around and won the natty. Guarantee they’re keeping receipts.
