Just finished watching UVA finish off a game in true UVA style…..brought a tear to my eye…

They were sent to OT (for the 2nd day in a row) on a buzzer beater. That had to wear on them psychologically. Plus they suck at FT shooting, and convert 1-2 foot shots at a womens ball rate.

If FAU or Grand Canyon lose, it will be tough for UVA to make it as another bid will be stolen.

will be interesting to see what they do with Princeton. They were in as an 11, which is an at large, but they lost the tourney and wont get the auto. so do they put in 2 ivies? that is 3 potential bids gone (american, WAC and Ivy).

Well UNC had their UVA moment against NC State. NCST seems to be a hot team right now.

I think Princeton will be out of luck. I’d say Yale wins tomorrow and gets the bid. Brown has been hot though with consecutive wins over Princeton, Yale, Cornell, and Harvard over the last month

Using a juvenile nickname in a conversation relating to the school is one thing, starting a thread to discuss them in something that has zero to do with JMU is the epitome of living rent free in somebody's head. We want to elevate our school and be proud of our accomplishments but feel the need to drag somebody down to do it. We all hate how Liberty folks seem to drag us every step of the way when our success has nothing to do with them, but here we are piling on a thread started by somebody with 2 posts. If we were the ones beating UVA then have it.

Eh, gentle mockery of other schools is fine, though sometimes it crosses the line. The worst of all time was the "F--k Tony Bennett!" chant at the U.Va. game a couple of years ago. Stupid.

Yeah. That one wasn't cool and didn't make us look so great either. I hate UVA, but Bennett is one of the good dudes.

As for the insults, I think of it this way:
However you feel when people call us the 'Pukes' or whatever is the same as when we insult them. If you're cool with it, then go for it. If you're not and you still do it, then you're a hypocrite.
