Beyond the curse I liked the quality of their broadcasts. A better production than the hapless ACC Network.

RE: The next ACC media partner(s)
I find it "curious" that the Raycom deal expires about the same time as the ESPN renewal.

If ESPN were not to renew, the ACC already has a broadcast production company ready to pre-package ACC coverage that could be sold in totality or broken into pieces if need be to sell that way.

NBC, CBS, Comcast, Turner could be up and running with ACC content without production investment as it already exists.

No doubt but it still doesn't change the fact that The ACC Network is awful.

The jury is still out with me as far as the ACCN quality. I am certainly glad that we have it. But I dont know if its my cable provider or Hulu or the ACCN. But there has been at least 3 SU games that I watched where the audio is about 20 seconds ahead of the action on the court for up to 5 or 6 minutes at a time. You hear the crowds roar for a good play and then 20 seconds later you see the actual play. I dont recall that happening for fb but its happened for bb a few times and its very annoying. Sometimes they will cut into a commercial break without there being a timeout. That doesnt happen often but I have seen it maybe a couple times. Sometimes the screen would just go blank for a few seconds. Again, I dont know if its my cable provider or Hulu or the ACCN but that stuff only happens while watching the ACCN. As far as the announcers, the sometimes need more practice or experience but that doesnt bother me nearly as much.

Doesn't each school produce their own home games on the ACCN? I don't recall ever seeing technical problems like that for a VT home game... must be 'Cuse!

It's probably that sports commentators program at Cuse. Bunch of slackers. 07-coffee3

RE: The next ACC media partner(s)
Running the scenario of partnering with NBC:

This of course makes a lot of assumptions that the ACCN continues on and the CW is still a partner. NBC would broadcast up to 2 games a Saturday, CW would be 2 games, the ACCN and other outlets broadcast the rest including neutral site. Late nights are set aside for SNL and late night talk shows. ND would get a broadcast each week when they qualify. I'm running this scenario as if we were playing the 2023 season.

Week 0 - Navy vs ND (NBC)

Week 1 - TSU @ ND (NBC), Clem @ Duke (NBC), UL @ GT (CW), Miami(Oh) @ Miami (CW)

Week 2 - ND @ NCSU (NBC), aTm @ Miami (NBC), Cinci @ Pitt (CW), Pur @ VT (CW)

Week 3 - WMU @ ND (NBC), FSU @ BC (NBC), Minni @ UNC (CW), NW @ Duke (CW)

Week 4 - tOSU @ ND (NBC), FSU @ Clem (NBC), BC @ UL (CW), UNC @ Pitt (CW)

Week 5 - ND @ Duke (NBC), UL @ NCSU (NBC), Clem @ SU (CW), Pitt @ VT (CW)

Week 6 - ND @ UL (NBC), VT @ FSU (NBC), Wake @ Clem (CW), GT @ UM (CW)

Week 7 - USC @ ND (NBC), UM @ UNC (NBC), SU @ FSU (CW), UL @ Pitt (CW)

Week 8 - Duke @ FSU (NBC), Clem @ UM (NBC), UVA @ UNC (CW), BC @ GT (CW)

Week 9 - Pitt @ ND (NBC), Clem @ NCSU (NBC), UNC @ GT (CW), FSU @ Wake (CW)

Week 10 - ND @ Clem (NBC), UM @ NCSU (NBC), Wake @ Duke (CW), BC @ SU (CW)

Week 11 - GT @ Clem (NBC), UM @ FSU (NBC), Duke @ UNC (CW), UVA @ UL (CW)

Week 12 - Wake @ ND (NBC), UL @ UM (NBC), UNC @ Clem (CW), UNA @ FSU (CW)

Week 13 - ND @ Stan (NBC), UGA @ GT (NBC), UK @ UL (CW), UNC @ NCSU (CW)

RE: The next ACC media partner(s)
As I was going through ND's and the ACC's schedule, I thought there was a sufficient amount of games for Tier 1 (NBC) and what would amount to as Tier 2 (CW) games.
