They may have stolen a bid from Virginia. Are the days of 6 or 7 bids a thing of the past? A lot of fans think the revenue gap is making the ACC less competitive in football. Looks like the biggest hit is to ACC hoops instead. The SEC may now be top to bottom stronger than the ACC in the ACC's signature sport.

I'm not ready to go that far, but adding Stan, Cal, SMU has watered down basketball for sure. These were mostly about market adds, I'm just hopeful that by osmosis they will improve football and basketball.
