Ahhhhhhhhhhh! How come the plant couldn't have called during January or even February? Working in the petrochemical industry, you never know when you're gonna have to go to work and for this time of year it just sucks given how big of a college basketball fan I am.

This is not the first time I've gone to work during March Madness. My first plant assignment was in 2011 and it started in early March, so I missed so many games. Still got to go to that Final Four with Butler, UConn, VCU and Kentucky, so I still have some vivid memories.

Even having to start 2 weeks later would have been MUCH better because I'd get all of next Thursday and Friday to myself but who am I to whine? At least I will make enough to get my debt paid off, that's a silver lining.

I actually missed that one. Was running other errands I couldn't during a normal day in the plant. But I was able to watch today for the most part, as I snuck watching games on my phone in my bag, pretending often that I was reaching for something else rather than watching my phone like TV. Sucks though, I can't get the local CBS affiliate on my Xfinity Stream and not even on the CBS Sports app, so I missed all of the CBS games. Then, of course, I was so exhausted from the plant (I got no sleep last night) that I got home today and immediately fell asleep, missing the third games of the day on each network. So even with being able to watch some games, I haven't been able to watch much.

Oh it F-ing sucks knowing I will miss some of the Semis, even if it's just because I'm driving to work.
