After the SEC and the Big10 finish taking what they want from the ACC Memphis may get to go there but so will 1/2 of the AAC and maybe Liberty and James Madison.

On the other hand Memphis may not get that call. It may not matter anyway as the post raided ACC may not be included in the top tier of college athletics anyway.

It may very well be that an even more watered down version of the AAC is Memphis' forever home. SMU is gone after this year. Look around, outside of Tulane (cringe) who is left that made the move 'up' to the AAC with Memphis.

Tulane will get the call to backfill the ACC before Memphis does. Whenever, whatever happens between the PAC12 (2) and the MWC, Memphis won't be a part of it but a couple of the new Texas schools might be.

Just face it - Memphis is to the AAC what UTEP is to CUSA and hell, if UTSA gets called up to the new PAC then UTEP probably gets into the AAC.

The AAC is garbage and it is going to get worse. It hasn't hit bottom yet.
