MyBB Props to Byington
Byington finally got the monkey off of his back and did it in emphatic fashion. He uncharacteristically showed a lot of emotion after the win and it was aligned with how Badly he wanted to get to the big dance.

4 years after the opening of the $100 million AUBC it finally pays off. 04-rock

I actually think he won the tournament last night when the Dukes were tied with 8 minutes left and he called for the full court press. It changed the game, gave JMU separation, and put the Dukes in position to fend off a game Texas State squad.

Yes, this means P6 programs will now be interested in him, but that is a good thing. If the Dukes win a game or games in the big dance, his stock goes even higher. If he jumps for a better offer, the Dukes will have a ton of accomplished head coaches wanting to take over a program that is peaking and playing in a shiny new area. These are the glory days boys and girls.

Congrats to Bourne too. He has presided over a bad basketball program for the majority if his tenure and it is probably his biggest weakness, but he gets to go out on the highest of high notes as retirement is just a few months away.

When should we expect to hear about Bourne's replacement? Very happy he has been able to go out on such a high note. Great guy

Will happily donate some money for whatever JMU decides to do for JB. I don't care if it's a statue or naming something, the guy is one of the most important Dukes of all time full stop. Glad to see By shut up the geniuses on this board. He's been incredible since he touched down in Harrisonburg.

This settles it: We’re renaming it Harrisonbourne.

One day, students will say, “You going home for the summer?”

And the response will be, “Nah, I’m staying in the ‘Bourne. Gonna work on my awesome.”
