In terms of arenas, it's a downgrade. WCU's Ramsay Center is nice.

Also, WCU literally lost in OT last night in the SoCon Tournament, so this had to have been already in the works.

Winning 22 games at WCU isn't easy. And they beat Notre Dame, McNeese, UNCA and Vanderbilt this year. Impressive.

Yeah that's a great hire for Coastal

So jealous of programs that hire head coaches and don't just go "hurr durr need a P5 coach".

Coastal does have a new convocation center on their new master plan. According to the Pres, the plans are for the facility to be approx 225,000 sq feet near the main entrance of campus off of 501. I'd have to imagine part of the deal for him to leave would be increased program support and expedited facility upgrades with an estimated timeline. I personally would've needed some type of contracted commitment to the basketball program from Coastal before leaving.
