Yep, the Wild West is an apt description. Courts ruled that the NCAA can't enforce their multi-transfer sit out rule so a student athlete can transfer as many times as they want with no penalty. No more waivers are needed.

Given the courts' penchant for striking down NCAA restrictions, I see no reason why they would enforce a 6-year limit on graduation. Why not let kids pursue doctorate degrees and keep playing hoops?

Kochera was A-10 1st Team All-Academic this year.

He didn't "walk" on senior night. The word is that he will return to Davidson and use his 5th year of eligibility.

He played very well in the second half of the season and was often the only effective scorer. Davidson played good defense, but struggled to score at times. If he can play an entire season the way he played the second half of last season, he will be on one of the all A-10 teams.

I was just thinking, which is dangerous, if the transfer players have 30 to change their mind and we take 35 days to hire a new coach are they out of luck????
