AK needs to reevaluate how he chooses his players… this group doesn’t have the heart, consistency, basketball IQ, or desire to be consistent winners. They wilt under the smallest amount of pressure. That’s on top of the player control issues and consistency issues already built in to AK-coached teams. I’m not sure what to think about next year, assuming the core group is back minus Gaines and JD. Maybe they’re the problems. They were supposed to be our “leaders” and have about the least fire and passion I’ve seen from any two players in a UAB uniform.

3rd season in a row we will finish behind where we were predicted to finish preseason in the conference standings.
