I think that is too much. As I said on the other post, TS hasn't been at full strength until the last month and they are hot right now and have some length. Dukes by 6 I think is more reasonable. Win and advance baby that is all that matter! GO DUUUUUKES

TXST loves Pensacola as an 11 seed lol... I still feel better about them than I would have about Troy, but you can't ever feel very comfortable in March. It has a bit of a similar feel to the South Alabama matchup last year, running in to a hot team that's better than their seed right now and hoping we aren't getting them before the extra days wear them down.

I think we get the W, but I think they'll make us sweat a lot more than the Herd did.

What will be interesting to see is how Byington does a 180 on the defensive gameplan. They denied 3pt attempts last night against a Marshall team that loves to launch them. Texas State is reluctant and wants to take closer shots. It is a stark contrast. Texas State attempted the least 3pt shots in the entire country. About half as many as Marshall this year.

I agree with this. They have won 10 out 13 which includes a win over App State and two over Troy.

In the warm-up game, Ark St. leads Ape St. by 10 at halftime. The Redwolves actually look much better than App. Controlling the tempo, Ark's intense, skin-tight defense is wrecking App's usual give-and-gos and runners in the lane, as well as treys.

Why call TO? You have possession in a tie game, run the clock and take the final shot, should be a situation that’s been drilled many times over the season. Now you gotta hope you can inbound this ball and work with it.

What a weird play, hero ball back to the basket 15 feet out, mind made up he’s going to take final shot and somehow it ended up going in. Looked like he traveled twice and shot was late, we’ll see….on replay looked good. Night night Ape State.
