Incredible — not sure most appreciate how hard that is to do.

I could really give two “excrements” they won four years in a row

Finish fourth and win the bid for goodness sakes

We want the dance

I feel you but this was supposed to be a rebuilding year. We overachieved.
Sure, we all want an NCAA bid. But I’ll give them a pass this year.

At least win Thursday. If we bow out Friday, I can live with it.

Everyone returns next season. Bring in a solid post transfer and then you can make your run..

No, we win them all. At this point nothing else is acceptable. In the other thread someone was talking about all the good teams we lost to. Some kicked our butts (Vermont?) but we were not outclassed by anyone.

They can win in Cleveland. Get it done.

no reason not to win the Mac this year. every team is flawed. no one is playing great. Ohio and Akron are pretty good but OU has no inside game and Akron has no outside game. CMU and BG will beat you if you don't bring it, but you could have tougher semifinal opponents. A struggling dinged up Kent team to open is both a manageable opponent and one we want to get revenge on in the tournament. the whole deal finally sets up nicely for us. just gotta avoid injuries make shots, rebound and keep the energy up.

Yeah and with that stupid new rule, if we don’t win in Cleveland we could end up playing in the College Basketball Insider tournament…no automatic spot in the NIT as regular season champs anymore

All the NIT has ever done for us is allow us to watch a mentally spent team. It’s like watching a funeral.

RE: Back-to-Back-to-Back-toBack
Coach Todd builds entertaining and usually high scoring teams. Unfortunately, being physical is not part of his formula, which is usually what comes back to bite Toledo in the Tournament. This will be a tournament where just about any of the teams has a shot at winning. It probably comes down to how hard Toledo has to work inside over the course of tournament. They put on a great run when beating Ohio and Akron, but were too spent to deal with BG’s inside game. Should be an interesting tournament.

It is an incredible accomplishment to win 4 straight outright regular season championships!

Now, let's end this tournament drought/curse once and for all!

First things first, congratulations to the Players and Coaches on a 4-peat which is a great accomplishment in itself! Who would have thought after losing your three best players who averaged 55ppg. combined, having only 4 players back with playing experience (Moss, Maddox, Cochran, and Lorentson), Start 2 Freshmen (Wilson & Simmons), and having its key portal transfer player (Wight) be a non-factor, that they would be cutting down the nets in Savage after the last game of the regular season? I know it is all about the upcoming 3 Days in Cleveland, but until then, we should tip our hats for an (unexpected) job well done!

Yes, no doubt.

It's been a great year and a lot of fun - thanks again to Coach K, the staff (including the two managers who were honored yesterday) and of course the players. Like Jaybird said post game yesterday this is a great program. Some of us (me included) are hungry for the big prize. That's understandable too.

If the team that played the last two games shows up, we can win it all. If the team that showed up for BG and NIU, we won't.

Gonna be short handed without Brcic and Ford. Let's hope we get some minutes and help from the bench - it will be needed over 3 days. As crazy as this year has been, maybe Marco or Thomas will shine given the chance. We did see a little of them lately, and Coach K said he knew they would score.

It would be a great time to see Dante get hot. At times he can look like George Gervin without the height.
