How about this.. A sizable number of Memphis fans are combative and demeaning.

I do find yall as a group to be more tolerable about a decade later, maybe that’s bc yall have had some humble pie with pastner, tubby, and now Penny.

But in any case I am glad to be back in a conference with yall, as yall were the standard bearer in CUSA forever, and an admittedly very lopsided rival with UAB. I’m here for the friendly banter and trash talk.

And yes, I know UAB has sucked several years out of the last decade, and I’m aware of our very lopsided record against the tigers lol..

clt says memphis was a team in cusa, but cincy, lville, marquette, charlotte also had bigly success.

Memphis dominated CUSA for years after Louisville, Cincy and Marquette left, just before we moved to the AAC. That's what he was talking about.

But that wasn't the reference point, and you didn't distinguish the era. Nobody would say Memphis dominated with UL, Cincy and Marquette there. Duh.
