Let's have it outside of someone's home arena.

BJCC or Huntsville. How in the hell CUSA decided to finally leave the Frisco curtain and go to Huntsville is beyond me.

I believe others mentioned somewhere in Mississippi. That would be closest to neutral as no school is in MS.

Speaking of AK, WVU looks like they are taking the interim tag off their coach. But Louisville is moving on from Kenny Payne.
I would be scared of Louisville trying to snag AK.

I’m pretty sure UL is going to want to make a splash after the Payne disaster. Probably a bigger splash than AK.

Would expect UL to think they are above AK, especially after what would be perceived to outsiders as a disappointing season, barring a big march run *fingers crossed*

WVU doesn't want anything to do with the Huggins tree. The only job I would worry about is when NC State moves on from Keatts

WVU fired Eilert. They are searching for a new coach.

AK is #7 on Sports Illustrated’s list.

Not concerned unless the team just blows away my expectations over the next 3 weeks or some drunkard loses his job at a bottom tier high major again in the middle of the summer.

I think this is fair. WVU seems like it's between Dusty May, JMU's coach, and App State's coach. NC State probably opens, but also Louisville could cause some dominoes depending on how high they're able to go. Dawkins and UCF are supposed to part ways as well.

Really though I don't expect anything this season, and if it happens then it happens. I went through the AAC salaries of the public schools and saw that AK was 3rd or 4th in the conference. Being over $1M should help UAB have a great number of candidates whenever the time arrives.

Not quite. Our AAC share increases each year, reaching full share in year 4 or 5, I think.

Thank you. So we go from getting a small bag of chips for lunch to getting a family sized, then we get a party sized in year 3. Eventually we get the rotel velveeta cheese dip and a hot dog or two.

They were putting up Starry banners on the windows of the main entrance yesterday when I went to renew football season tickets. FWIW

Doesn’t give me faith that any heavy changes or construction is about to happen.

Forgot that the Swac tournament has been hosted at Bartow as of late. That’s why they were putting up the Starry drink banners.

He's a hot name this season, and very easily could be at a bigger job by the time we're looking. Like I said though, I'm not worried about it this season. The next time we make the dance is probably when things get more serious on that front.

I agree that AK isn’t leaving this off season. If we did find ourselves in a. Tough spot with a late departure or something, I’d back a bank truck into Will Wade’s driveway. He got caught “cheating” right before it was allowed essentially. What he’s done at Mcneese is impressive

Speaking of coaching changes Pera is done at Rice

Wouldn't be shocked if UTSA announces a change as well

UTSA needed to announce last year but I assume they were hesitant so they could give Traylor a raise/extension first.

Henson is gone at UTSA, I wonder if Tulane will think about moving on from Hunter. Tulane has been mediocre in his 5 years there but I could see where next season is his make or break year
