He’s an idiot and a blowhard that only knows how to stir the pot to get more idiot callers to his show. I’ve never really figured out why or how he has been able to become as big as he is.

This guy is acting like the entire SEC and B10 would overmatch the best G5 teams. There is no dropoff from those teams and the middling P5 schools he's been watching all year. He'll be okay...

Just another attempt by the media to tell people what to want.

I see he’s already moved on from bashing his own Tenn alma mater after Bama didn’t make it to the championship for the 2nd consecutive year

Amen. He wouldn't have a pundit if it weren't for the SEC. Get rid of the G5 and he'd bash the Big 10.

First time I've seen the Liberty/Oregon score weaponized by a major college football voice. We should expect plenty of that going forward. (And not a knock against Liberty, good for them for playing in a NY6, but we suspected that a mismatch would be used against us...)

I don't care about what Finebaum wants. If it were up to him Alabama would play Georgia or another SEC school each year for the National Championship.

Yea, entertaining like these past CFB playoff matchups?
2015: Ohio State 42 - 20 Oregon; Oregon 59 - 20 Florida State
2016: Alabama 38 - 0 Michigan State
2017: Clemson 31 - 0 Ohio State
2019: Clemson 44 - 16 Alabama; Clemson 30 - 3 Notre Dame
2020: LSU 42 - Clemson 25; LSU 63 - 28 Oklahoma
2021: Alabama 52 - Ohio State 24

The G5 will have a tough time going forward keeping the win loss competitive. How often will the G5's highest ranked team get matched with anything short of number 4?

I'd just like to point out that G5 teams collectively have a better winning percentage in NY6 Bowls in the CFP era than the ACC.

RE: Paul Finebaum's Definitely Not Our Friend
He's an elitist and ignoramus. If he wants to watch best, he should just stick with NFL.
Maybe he should check out the NCAA mission statement:
Provide a world-class athletics and academic experience for student-athletes that fosters lifelong well-being.
It's not: "Provide world-class athletics and academic experience for only Power 5 student athletes"
In every single NCAA sport at every level except FBS, every single team has the potential for winning the national championship. It's completely in their hands, they just have to win all their games. Up until now, there were 63 teams, that if they won every single game, they would still not have the ability to play for a national championship. I don't think that's fair. The expanded playoff will only allow a single team of the 64 "undesirables" to compete for a National Championship. This is much better than nothing, but according to Finebaum, it is terrible.
Since college football is becoming a professional sports league, maybe its time we act like all the other professional sports leagues and practice revenue sharing. If it came to that, I would suspect the elites would withdraw their football teams from NCAA and start their own league with new rules, and be done with all of us.

funny how that plays out at times ... with NIL, that can only tick down like a faucet with a faulty valve...
I'm only looking at potential moving forward ... the rest of the jarooneys can piss the fk off....
