The first half of the MAC schedule is probably the easiest stretch we've had in years, and should set us up nicely as we break in new coordinators and attempt a title run. @Ball State, vs. Akron, @Buffalo, vs. Kent State. It'll all hinge on whether we can hold it together down the stretch, especially against our in-state rivals.
I really hate that WMU-CMU weekend is on a Tuesday, yet again. This midweek crap has killed off what was once a fantastic rivalry. WMU-CMU weekend was something special and none of the current students at either university have experienced it.
The home slate of games is not very exciting, but at least we've got 4 Saturday home games, which might be more than we've had in years.
It's a lot to ask for a 2nd year HC, with two new coordinators and a completely turned over roster, to compete for a championship. But anything can happen in the transfer portal era. Teams are so different year to year now. The uncertainty is kind of exciting. There are no dynasties anymore! It's anyone's game.
Agreed. I would be happy with 5-6 wins. I think that's progress.

Not true. Only one mid week game at home is the bees knees
And its not like our community gets excited for any other schedule we’ve had outside of the 2016 season. Win and people will show up.

Exactly. It's about wins and atmosphere. These home games are winnable and they are played on the weekends. The non conference away games seem a little disproportionate this season but I still expect 6+ wins. Go Broncos
