It's been 10 or more years of B12 fanboys proclaiming they would devour the ACC, all the while watching their own conference turn into Conference USA. It's primarily the WVU fans that makes the entire conference look like a bunch of morons, but others have fell victim to their lunacy as well.

I scour the YouTube for sports talk content, always searching, but the ACC is bare on good podcasters. The Big12 has many, maybe more than the B1G. The best I can find for the ACC primarily represent individual teams. The ACC has a branding problem, fan involvement seems to be low compared to other conferences, maybe these are all symptoms of lethargy.

The Big 12 certainly has crazy conspiracy theories cornered.

The ACC podcasters are more team centric.

The guys out of Raleigh do cover multiple teams and sometimes delve into bigger picture coverage. Ovies and Gigilio

It's entertaining to certain degree but some of them are real lunatics. In my view, they function as an unpaid PR machine for the B12.

There are also some pro-B12 media reporters who disseminate their agenda to make sure the public thinks the ACC is about to explode while the B12 remains stable and the number 3 conference.

I've been advocating for the ACC to expand and invite Pac schools for over a year. I did so because it would be such a rational move. None of these reporters even mentioned that possibility. Most people were shocked at the news of the ACC expansion because they all thought the ACC was a dead conference.

Big XII fans are funny ... but ... we're in the same boat they are in, regarding football.

I will be cheering them on when they face Big Ten and SEC schools, just like I do ACC teams.

As goofy as they are, we actually need them to elevate themselves, as much as we need to elevate ourselves.

Maybe they'll realize this too.

Many of them have the “they don’t think we’re good enough, left behind” mentality. It’s all an ego thing that they believe somehow their schools killing another conference justifies their importance. It’s not all of their fans though. I don’t really get it from the original Big 8 schools or the Pac schools. WVU and Cincinnati fans have a particular beef with the ACC because they were never invited. Well, sorry. Louisville was a better option at the time. Syracuse and Pitt were better options at the time. It is what it is, move on with your life and enjoy your new digs. It’s so incredibly petty how obsessed they are

To be fair, a lot of the anti-ACC stuff is not posted by Big XII fans. For instance, one of them is "What if espn no longer wants the ACC deal?" by Skyhawk, who is a self-proclaimed Big Ten fan.

I think the reason ACC fans get triggered is when Big XII fans claim that the ACC will collapse and the Big XII will decide who gets in and who is left behind.
