App beats JMU in football and then gets humiliated by Troy in the conference championship...good job.

App beats JMU twice in basketball and then loses in the semis of the conference tournament...good job.

App State seems to be good at playing the spoiler but not actually winning anything. Sort of like the kid brother who sabotages his older brother's dates or something. App is the Beaver to JMU's Wally.

If you want to go back in history, we all know JMU is the little brother. If you just want to look at the last year, what did JMU actually win? In football you lost your bowl game and App won theirs. In basketball, they split the regular season / tournament championships. And App swept JMU in all three games head to head. Sad attempt at twisting reality there little buddy.

5 NCAA post-season appearances this year and counting. Largest athletic budget in the conference. Best attendance between major sports (football, men's and women's basketball).

Certainly as to basketball JMU won when it counted most. It was nice to win the regular season title, something not done in Boone in a long time. But, like a bunch of other #1 seeds (two more today in Toledo and Richmond), we didn't bring it when it counted the most. JMU did and they get the last laugh. I'm willing to bet our players would trade trophies.
