Sucks for them. They started 12-1 and finish 18-8. Could have been an NCAA Tournament team, with an auto-bid of course.

I was coaching church rec league middle school. One girl came out in tears in the first quarter of a playoff game because of a sprain. We were already without our top two players who had conflicts, so we were down to 6 without her. She wanted in during the 4th quarter. We had been behind the whole game but she got a basket that got us the lead with about 3 minutes left. Then immediately was ready to come out because she was in pain.

And this was just middle school rec league. Had a girl in another season who dislocated her finger. It was bent sideways and she finished the play and only came to me about 10 seconds after it happened.

TCU faced the same thing and forfeited two games while they found some players. But TCU has 12,000 students on campus to try and find some.

Davidson is one of the smallest schools in D1 with 1900 students... and it looks like they ALREADY had gone out and found two new players. Their roster has two players with no pictures, no bios, not even a height. And each only played in one game before they started cancelling games.
