I'd guess that this has been in the works for a few months.

Mike has some work to do. Step 1 would be to re-recruit the incoming class as well as some current underclassmen.

Some of that work is done before he even does the presser.

Very excited. Only thing better than a successful HC is a former ODU player successful HC.

Mike Jones will become the fourth Maryland staffer to leave for a head coaching job since Kevin Willard took over at Maryland in 2022.

Seven former Willard Assistants are now Head Coaches. The guy has quite a coaching tree.
