Well, the poor fundamentals are starting to show up. Need to be better and smarter to pull this one out

EDIT: If W&M wins both, Elon loses both, and A&T loses to Campbell then W&M would be seeded #11 and would play Hampton again. If all three teams tie at 5-13 then the Tribe holds the tiebreaker by virtue of being 2-1, Elon would be 2-2, and A&T would be 1-2.

If A&T wins but Elon loses both, and W&M wins both then W&M is #12 and Elon is #13.

Noticing that too. Feeding the guards in the mid post and they arent even looking at the hoop. A few of those would have been wide open shots in the lane.

Lemond in particular never looked at the basket. Lowe we know isn't going to shoot outside 3 feet.

w/r/t to the timeout "strategy"... maybe he's trying to get 2 timeouts close to each other for extra rest for a shorter bench? That's all I can think of.

Those last several sequences were awful and just represent a horribly coached team who had no idea how to execute down the stretch in a very winnable game.

That was a trademark end of the game for a Dane Fischer coached team.

With the loss, W&M will finish #13 if we beat Hampton and #14 if we lose to Hampton. If we win then we would play A&T. If we lose then it would be either Elon or perhaps Campbell.

I have never been that impressed with Houpt. Other that a few hot steaks shooting 3s his game isn't very good, especially defense. I got tickled at the TV announcers telling how good Dane's offensive play calling was! They must have been looking at a different game than I watched!!

Yet another game that we lead at halftime and lose as the other team makes effective halftime adjustment while Dane fails as HC

I would start Miles Hicks over Haupt. In fact, I would start Hicks over a number of players.....
